Tryon county in the Provincial Congress of 1776 which adopted the Declaration
of Rights and Constitution for North Carolina as a State Independent of Great
Britian; and member from Lincoln County in North
Carolina House of Commons, 1779. 13 N. Car. col. and State Records, pp 811 to
1000.
